The Course Aim
is to enable trainees to operate a overhead crane in a safe and competent manner to the ITSSAR standard.
The course will be carried out at the customers own premises using their equipment for the safe and legal operation of overhead cranes.
This course is
for operators with little or no experience. Both practical and theoretical tuition is given, which is followed up by pre-shift checks and practical and theory tests. Upon the successful completion of the course all candidates will receive a signed certificate via their employer.
The duration of the course above is dependent on the trainees previous experience, the number of trainees attending the course, (maximum of three trainees per course). Please contact us to discuss the duration and cost of any course.
Refresher Training.
This is a 1 day training course for operators who have completed a basic training course. They need to produce their certificate of basic training to the instructor on or before the date training commences. Upon the successful completion of the course all candidates will receive a signed certificate via their employer

Employers/Employees To comply with their duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (section 2) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (Regulations 9) employers must ensure that all operators, both new and existing, are adequately trained and when necessary provide for their additional or refresher training. I am an ITSSAR registered instructor with extensive warehouse experience, qualified to train operators.
